This gathering marks the official launch of The Washington Post Climate and Energy Council, an invite-only executive membership of Washington Post Intelligence.
WP Intelligence is The Post's new premium service that is designed to give its members both premium intelligence and meaningful interpersonal connections to navigate critical issues. Our launch in Davos will convene C-suite executives, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss how the private sector is driving innovation and transformative change in energy and climate solutions even as it navigates the complexities of the new administration and Congress. Together, we will discuss key challenges and opportunities facing the industry today. The conversation will be hosted by The Washington Post's editor-at-large for opinion strategy and innovation, Bina Venkataram, who formally served as senior advisor for climate change to the Obama White House. Our space will be located at the Hard Rock Residences off Tobelmühlestrasse. Please note that the Hard Rock Hotel and the Hard Rock Residences are separate buildings and while connected internally it is easier to use the Residences entrance if you aren't already in the hotel.
To find the Residences entrance locate the Ex Bar on the Promenade (63 Promenade) across the road from there, there is an open courtyard area of shops & restaurants. In the far left hand corner of that courtyard - there is the Soko Sports Bar - by this there is a set of stairs/elevator. Take those stairs/elevator to the ground floor and across the road you will see the Residence signage. From there Washington Post signage will direct you to our space.
